Bill was trying to to teach his son the evils of alcohol.

He put a worm in a glass of water & another in a glass of whiskey.

The worm in the water lived while the one in the whiskey curled up & died.
"All right, son," Said Will, "what does that show you?"
"Well dad, it shows that if you drink alcohol you will not have worms."

General Information About GARFIELD

Garfield was born in Italy in 1978. At birth Garfield weighed 5 POUNDS & 6 OUNCES which is really huge for a kitten. Unfortunately his previous owner who also owns an Italian restaurant was not willing to keep Garfield because he kept on eating all the lasagna. Garfield was then sold to a pet store. The next thing Garfield new he was purchased by a skinny cartoonist named Jon Arbuckle.
